Seraphina wakes up in an odd forest full of creatures and ghosts. How will she get home?

There are three possible endings and four unlockable special features. The game type is similar to Shivers, Myst, Maniac Mansion, or other Point-and-Click Adventures of the 90s. The graphics are meant to evoke a sort-of low-resolution PS1-type graphics. This was made for the Haunted PS1 Summer of Shivers.

This is my first published game. Let me know what you think.

This game really grew on me over time. It was a bit of a rocky start without any sound and the ui took some getting used to but after figuring out how to trigger some of the events early on I started to really enjoy it. I'm looking forward to playing it again to get the other endings. Definitely one of the more unique games from the game jam. I streamed my time playing through the game on twitch and archived the video here in case it can be of any help to you or to others playing the game:

I figured out how to get the pacifist and ghost hunter endings but I can't seem to figure out the robot. I've tried using the red/green cables on everything  but I can't seem to find a use for them. I've also tried not taking the cables and doing everything else to see if there was a way to repair the robot but I can't find anything. Could you give me a hint to point me in the right direction?

Hi, sorry for late reply, I only just now saw your comments/video. Thank you for making the video, it was helpful seeing someone else play through it, and it helped me see some things I could have done differently, like the shoe directions, the stump icon being too dark, and some event-triggers that probably didn't need to be there. You're very patient and did great at working things out. Thank you for playing through it and trying out possibilities to figure out how to proceed through the game.

The cables don't do anything. You were right in the video saying it seemed like you should be able to make something with them--but I was running out of time while making the game and did not make that section of the game. I left the cables in, even though they serve no purpose, kind of like the chainsaw in Maniac Mansion. The third ending is to do one less than the ghost hunter ending...(spoilers below)

Destroy the pink ghost and the blue-green ghost, then go to the horse for the ending. Basically, skip the third/hidden face-ghost.

Thanks for the reply and for checking out the video! Actually that third ending makes perfect sense and I can't believe I didn't think of that! So I guess the cables were a good red herring.

The control icons very a bit confusing since they all had the same color and looked similar. I suggest you keep unique icons for all of them and only have 1 shoe, since now the 4 brown icons blend together.

The hand and nose icons could also do with a hover effect, so the player knows they can use them.

Add some music, fix the icons and this could be a nice little game :)

These are good suggestions. I'll keep them in mind while working on projects. Thank you for the feedback.
